Come one, come all! The Fortress Faceoffs team has partnered with Divergent Media to deliver a special gift for you this Smissmas season! Bring your friends (just two though, please) to compete in a 2-on-2 tournament with a unique spin on a popular game mode! Players will fight against pairs of any two classes with a catch: each one has a limited selection of weapons in their arsenal! Run the gauntlet with a friend as two different classes to form the best combo since 2Fort and defeat your enemies 20 times to win (like in MGE)! Maps have been chosen to provide the most even balance for all 9 classes, and weapons are hand-picked to keep Scout's health insurance in good shape. The top 8 champions will have games streamed live on the Fortress Faceoffs and Divergent Media Twitch channels!

Hey all! Effective today, I'm stepping down from my position as Senior Staff. This may feel sudden to some, but others know that I have been planning my retirement for the better part of a year now. I've been part of staff since 2015, and it just feels like it's time to let others with more motivation than myself to take the reins. This isn't goodbye - I'll still be around as a Gold Star helping out here and there in the background, and I still have maps to work on.
Been a busy year and I'm finally able to catch up on the status of the staff team. 3 2 1 let's jam.
First up, Gold Stars. This year we brought on many new faces to the team. @toopliss joined late in 2015 and became Gold Star in October 2020. They are known for their jump map Crunch,Craggy Coast and jarate water.

It's that time of the year again, and TFConnect is coming back to town! This year, they're hosting a charity event on December 11th and 12th (both days at 1pm CET | 7am EST) in support of SpecialEffect, whose mission is to empower gamers with disabilities.
During the event, there will be an assortment of activities for everyone involved! They have a 6v6 tournament with a twist featuring your favorite content creators, a live Smissmas Baking show featuring Shork & friends, a session of Mann Vs. Machine hosted by CeeJaey with special guests A_Seagull, Uncle Dane, Robin Walker, Jill, SirActionSlacks & Benjamoose, and much, much more! Added team specific teleporter destinations for teleporting players out of the cap zone when a round is over. This should stop players getting stuck in each other.
Cap point open sprite should no longer appear at the start of a round if the cap opened during "waiting for players"
Blocked off sentry spot under the ramps at mid because it was too advantageous
