hugs.tf 2017 is the fourth-annual charity event, hosted by members of the European Team Fortress 2 community in an effort to raise money for Special Effect, a non-profit organization that provides children access to gaming, regardless of disability.

This year’s event will be running May 6-7 and is a 26-hour Twitch live stream, hosted in Hammersmith, West London. The link to the stream can be found right here! We’ll be posting on this blog throughout the event, so be sure to send us your comments, thoughts, questions, etc. The event starts on May 6, at 5:00pm BST (10:00am MST or 11:00am CT or 12:00pm EST)

While cash donations are not yet open (at the time of writing), you can donate your TF2 items via scrap.tf right here! The donated items will be sold, with the proceeds going towards Special Effect. Any donors who give at least £10 (that’s $13 USD and $17 CAD) will receive a neat in-game medal (pictured below).
