Valveâs New Offices Have Pyroland Vision

A year ago, Valve announced they would be moving to a larger office space around September 2017. It is now 2 months past September 2017, and there has been much speculation as to what they would do with more wiggle room. Many have speculated having more room for more staff, but thatâs basics. One of our speculations would be that Valve would make two designated lanes for the rolling chairs so traffic to respective game desks wouldnât be so cluttered. (Weâve all heard how congested the VR chair lanes can get.)

While we donât know if weâre right about that, we have yet to be proven wrong about it. What we do know based on some photos that have surfaced on the internet of the new office space is there has been a room decorated to resemble the one and only magical world of wonder: Pyroland! In a pastel-perfect painted land of lollipop and cotton candy trees, giant cupcakes and teacups, calmly sits the mother of all Balloonicorns with her blown-up babies. 

Mayhaps our own little Beefur would like to visit his family in their natural habitat sometime soon! (At least, weâd like to think the room is very much Pyroland, and not just a room set on fire. That would be slightly impractical and very much a waste of moving space.)
